Want to hear Marty barking?
Hey, Rose Bud!
I'm gonna get real and tell you about an interview that I did last night. It was great, but also chaotic! lol
So a friend and fellow author who's also a publisher and has an amazing podcast, Kelly Colby, invited me to be on her channel for an interview. I was happy to say yes because she's fun to talk to, and because I love that kind of stuff!
But, for some reason everything that could go wrong during the interview, did!! Honestly, it was a comedy of errors!
For starters, I've been battling allergies and had an annoying cough. It was super distracting for me and I kept needing to drink water because I didn't want to start hacking during the interview. But I did hack a few times. #EEP
Then, as I was talking, the Siri on my Mac heard a word or phrase that made her think I was asking her something and my entire screen went blank and I couldn't hear anything! It took me a few seconds to figure out it was Siri that caused the glitch.
Then, my daughter who lives out of town and doesn't call too regularly because we mostly text each other, started blowing up my phone. My phone is connected to my Mac, so all that happened and my screen went blank again!
And lastly, as if on cue when we started talking about dogs, my precious Marty decided he wanted attention. Like desperately needed me. He's a talker, so suddenly he's barking like his little life depended on it. Does my husband come and get him and help me out because he knows I'm on an interview? Nooo... he's too busy doing whatever he was doing. So I had to holler for him to come and get Marty! #SHEESH
